​​​​​​Grab your book bestie or come make some new ones and join us for a 4 day - 3 night Book Retreat in Waco, Texas (Feb 5 - 8, 2027)​. We’ll be staying at the historic Rose Haven, a home built in 1911 with a pretty interesting story behind it. According to the history shared about Rose Haven, Bonnie Parker once stayed at the home during her time in Waco, so of course we had to add a little Bonnie & Clyde-inspired fun to our Galentine’s theme.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll have select meals, a bookish excursion in Waco, Galentine’s-themed games and activities, a featured author, Bookish Haven attendee bag filled with goodies, group experiences such as a local bookstore crawl and a few Haven surprises along the way.

There will also be time to explore Waco, shop, grab food, read, relax and just enjoy being away for the weekend. Come alone or bring a friend! This is your chance to get away for a few days, enjoy all things bookish and spend the weekend with other women who love books just as much as you do.

Bookish Haven offers virtual meetups and a group chat for all retreats to help attendees feel at ease and build connections before the retreat. You will also receive a virtual welcome packet with more information.
